OUR SERVICES

Our philosophy is about working together so that we can create a therapeutic environment from which you can grow and improve your life.

E D M R

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an effective, often short-term alternative to more traditional methods of psychotherapy.  EMDR may help you attain therapeutic goals at a rapid rate, with recognizable changes that stand the test of time.  The body possesses an intuitive ability to heal itself.  EMDR appears to facilitate this self-mending process.  In fact, numerous controlled studies support the efficacy of EMDR, making it one of the most thoroughly researched methods ever used in the treatment of trauma and anxiety.

Both Karen Weinberg LeClaire and Karla Shepard are offering EDMR.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is an evidence based powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms.

Brainspotting is a simultaneous form of diagnosis and treatment, enhanced with Biolateral sound, which is deep, direct, and powerful yet focused and containing.  It has been effective with individuals who have experienced trauma as well as anxiety and depression.

Both Casey Kirkland and Nicole Pero are offering Brainspotting.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy (sometimes called “psychotherapy” or “counseling”) is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.

Couples therapy

Couples therapy is a means of resolving problems and conflicts that couples have not been able to handle effectively on their own. It involves both partners sitting down with a trained professional to discuss their thoughts and feelings.

Distanced Couple
Family Therapy

Family therapy is a type of psychotherapy that helps families or individuals within a family understand and improve the way family members interact with each other and resolve conflicts together.

This type of therapy strengthens the entire family, allowing each family member to rely on one another to work towards desired family change.

Guided by your family therapist, you'll learn new ways to interact and overcome old problems. You'll set individual and family goals and work on ways to achieve them as a family.
